This Health & Safety Policy ("Policy") outlines the responsibilities and expectations for maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment within NuvoDesk's premises. Adherence to this Policy is mandatory for all members and guests.

I. Cleanliness and Maintenance
Private Offices

Members occupying private offices are required to maintain cleanliness and order within their allocated spaces, and regular cleaning is expected.

Common Areas and Conference Rooms

All members must ensure that these shared spaces are cleaned and tidied after each use. This includes disposing trash, wiping down surfaces, and returning furniture to its original configuration.

Kitchen & Sink

Members must rinse and remove food from dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. The kitchen area should be kept clean and free of food debris.

Non-Compliance

Failure to regularly maintain a clean, tidy, and trash-free office may result in a $100 Cleaning Fee each time this policy is not adhered to. This includes PRIVATE offices AND conference rooms.

II. Personal Conduct and Decorum
Dress Code

Members must wear shoes and appropriate clothing at all times in all office spaces, including private offices, common areas, and conference rooms.

Behavior

Members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally. This includes treating other members, guests, and NuvoDesk staff courteously and respectfully.

III. Rationale for Policy
Professional Environment

NuvoDesk hosts a diverse array of businesses and professionals. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace is essential for creating a positive impression on clients, visitors, and prospective members.

Community Respect

NuvoDesk is a coworking space in a shared environment. Respecting the cleanliness and order of shared spaces is crucial for the comfort and productivity of all members.

IV. Hygiene Practices
General Hygiene

Members should adhere to basic hygiene practices, including regular hand washing and the proper disposal of tissues and other waste. Hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes are available throughout the premises.

Illness

Members exhibiting symptoms of illness are strongly encouraged to refrain from using NuvoDesk facilities until they fully recover. This helps to ensure the health and safety of the entire community.

V. Pest Control
Facility Cleanliness

Maintaining a clean and decluttered facility minimizes the risk of pest infestations, including rodents. All members are responsible for ensuring that their workspaces, especially private offices, are free of food debris and clutter.

VI. Office Tidiness
Professional Reflection

The state of your office reflects directly on your business. A tidy and organized office enhances your professional image and contributes to a positive and productive work environment for everyone.

VII. Policy Enforcement
Fines and Penalties

NuvoDesk reserves the right to impose fines for violations of this Policy. For failure to maintain cleanliness in private offices or common areas, a fine of $100 may be levied. Continued non-compliance may result in further disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of membership.

Reporting and Resolution

Members who observe violations of this Policy are encouraged to report them to NuvoDesk management. All reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly.
