Refund and Credit Policy

NuvoDesk Coworking is committed to providing clarity and transparency regarding refunds and account credits. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds and credits are issued, ensuring fairness and consistency for all members.

General Refund Policy

No Refunds for Membership Fees or Services

NuvoDesk does not provide refunds for any products, services, or membership fees paid, including but not limited to:

  • Monthly or annual membership fees.
  • Day Passes or other usage-based services.
  • Add-ons, such as Virtual Mail, Virtual Phone, or Live Answering Services.
Refunds for Private Office Deposits Only

Refundable deposits for Private Office memberships are the only exception, subject to the following conditions:

  • Outstanding Fees Deduction: Any outstanding fees or costs owed to NuvoDesk will be deducted from the deposit.
  • Key Return: All issued keys (office keys, cabinet keys) must be returned.
  • Obligations Fulfilled: The member must satisfy all membership obligations, including fees and compliance with NuvoDesk policies.
  • Timely Move-Out: Members must adhere to the Private Office Move-Out Policy.
Deposit Refund Process
  • Refunds of the Private Office deposit will be processed within 30 days of the last day of membership. Refer to our Cancellation Policy to know more.
  • The remaining balance after deductions will be refunded to the member via the original payment method or another mutually agreed-upon method.

Credit Policy

Credits in Place of Refunds

NuvoDesk does not provide refunds for products, services, or membership fees. Instead, credits may be issued to a member’s account under the following conditions:

  • Future Use: Credits can be applied toward:
    • Future membership fees.
    • Booking additional services, such as conference rooms or event spaces.
    • Add-ons, including Virtual Mail, phone services, or other available offerings.
Credit Issuance
  • Discretionary Basis: Credits are issued at the sole discretion of NuvoDesk management and only under qualifying circumstances.
  • Authorized Application: Only authorized NuvoDesk management or designated staff may apply credits to a member’s account.
Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable
  • Non-Transferable: Credits are non-transferable between members and cannot be shared or exchanged for cash or other forms of compensation.
  • Non-Refundable: Credits cannot be refunded or used outside NuvoDesk’s offerings.
Expiration of Credits
  • Expiration Period: All credits issued to a member’s account must be used within 90 days from the date of issuance.
  • Forfeiture of Credits: Credits that remain unused after 90 days will automatically expire and be removed from the member’s account. No reinstatement will be granted for expired credits.
Tracking and Usage
  • Account Portal Access: Members can view their available credits and usage history through the NuvoDesk Member Portal.
  • Notification: NuvoDesk will notify members of unused credits approaching expiration, but it is the member’s responsibility to utilize their credits before the expiration date.

Conditions for Refunds and Credits

Eligibility for Credits

Credits may be granted in cases such as:

  • Errors in billing or service allocation.
  • Adjustments to service availability or member account needs.
Eligibility for Refunds (Private Office Deposits)

Refunds of Private Office deposits are contingent on the member’s:

  • Fulfillment of all membership fee obligations.
  • Compliance with NuvoDesk’s policies during their membership term.
Exceptions

NuvoDesk may consider refund requests under exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies or relocation), at the sole discretion of management. Supporting documentation may be required.

Applying Credits to Accounts

Usage

Members can use credits toward:

  • Membership fees for future billing cycles.
  • Additional services or bookings.
  • Fees for day passes or guest usage.
Expiration

Credits must be used within 12 months from the date of issuance. Expired credits will not be reinstated.

Outstanding Balances

Deduction from Deposits

Any outstanding balances, including late fees or damages, will be deducted from the refundable deposit for Private Office members.

Account Standing

Members with outstanding balances must settle their accounts in full before reactivating memberships or receiving deposit refunds.
